Buddha’s Birthday Ceremony March 28th &

Please Join Us for Buddha’s Birthday Weekend! March 28-29 at the Providence Zen Center We are pleased to announce that the 2015 Buddha’s Birthday will be held at the Providence Zen Center on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29. This year will be very special as we have not one, but TWO inka candidates, who will be participating in public dharma combat. Of course, we have our usual festivities including Buddha’s Birthday ceremony, a precepts ceremony, lots of food, entertainment, games and all around fun! Please join us if you can.

Buddha’s Birthday Weekend

Saturday April 5 - 9:00AM: We are pleased to announce the opening of the registration for the 2014 Buddha's Birthday weekend at the Providence Zen Center. On Saturday, there will be a transmission ceremony for Thom Pastor JDPSN as well as a special performance by PZC's Dharma School students. On Sunday, there will be an inka and a precepts ceremony. If you are planning to spend the night at PZC during the weekend, please make sure to register here. (There is a discount if you register by March 21). Remember, you do NOT need to register if you are not staying the night.

Buddha’s Birthday Weekend

Friday April 5 - 7 - Buddha's Birthday Weekend: If you are planning on attending Buddha's Birthday weekend and wish to stay overnight at PZC, please register here. The weekend festivities begin on Friday evening with a Hae Jae party, and end on Sunday afternoon after the precepts ceremony which begins at 2:30. With the transmission ceremony for Judy Roitman JDPSN and an inka ceremony, we are expecting a very high turnout - so register early! Remember, you do NOT need to register if you are not staying the night. More information can be found here.
