Art As practice Retreat

Lead by Paul Bloom and Chris Godin

In this work shop we will be focusing on integrating meditation practice and art as practice.

Please bring a project and materials

Note: Art media for this workshop can include writing, poetry, drawing, painting, photography and some forms of music

(music formats to be reviewed beforehand with teaching staff)

Sharing of work: pieces produced by the participants can be shared and presented

8:30am Registration

9:00 – 9:40 Introductions and orient to the day and teaching

9:40 – 10:30 Sit/Walk/Sit (20/10/20)

10:30 – 10:45 Q&A

10:45 – 12:30pm Art practice

12:30 – 1:00 Lunch and lunch cleanup

1:00 – 1:20 Walking Meditation outside (weather permitting)

1:20 – 3:00 Art practice

3:00 – 4:00 Share art followed by circle talk (with tea served
